About this monarch butterfly coloring page
A monarch butterfly seen from above with all four wings spread, each one split by bold veins into long panels. A dark border with a row of white spots runs around every wing, and two clubbed antennae rise from its furry body.
A real monarch is bright orange, with black veins and a black border dotted in white. Use two oranges, a deeper one near the body and a lighter one toward the tips, to make the wings glow.
Alive, it flits among the white orchids and now and then settles on one. Once you finish, set it free and it will live in The Glasshouse with drawings colored by others.
