Free butterfly and bug coloring pages
All drawings are free to print and free to color online, without a sign-up. The Glasshouse is a world in the pass: setting your butterflies and bugs free there comes with the pass, or with friends who play.
Detailed drawings to take slowly
These drawings are full of small shapes: the cells of a dragonfly’s wings, the spots along a monarch’s border, the rings of a caterpillar. They suit a slow, quiet hour. The ladybug and the caterpillar are the gentlest start; the dragonfly’s wings and the luna moth’s veined wings take longest.
Print one, or watch it come alive
Each drawing prints on one sheet of A4 or Letter paper, with a code you can use to come back online and color it. Tap a shape to fill it, and when you finish, your creature comes to life in The Glasshouse in all the colors you chose.
A nature lesson, up close
Each page says a little about its creature: the real colors of a monarch and a luna moth, how a ladybug is marked, what a honeybee really looks like. Print a set for a lesson about insects and other small creatures, or about how a caterpillar becomes a butterfly, then color one together on screen.
