Your book
How it works
Every animal, fish and character in our worlds began as a drawing to color. Here’s how yours joins them.
-
Color it your way
Choose a drawing, then tap a shape within it to fill it. You can choose from 24 different colors, or from a special set of magic colors: glitter, metal, glow, and shimmering colors like rainbow or pearl. You can also undo, erase and zoom in on your work as needed.
-
Watch it come alive
To finish your drawing and have it step off the page in your own colors, tap I’m done. Your finished drawing gets a name, and you can always ask for another or type in your own.
-
Set it free
Send it to its own world, where it will walk, swim, swing or fly among the drawings others have colored. It will also stay in My book, and a copy of it will be saved for you.
-
Come back and find it
Your drawing is still there. Come back and find it any time. Tap the other drawings to see what they are, and new drawings will appear as other players set them free.
Prefer crayons? You can also print a drawing, color it on paper and take a photo. See how
Color an animal from the jungle
Whatever you color will walk, swing or fly off into the jungle.
Or color it on paper
Print any drawing, then color it with your favorite crayons, pencils or markers. Take a photo of the whole sheet and your drawing leaves the paper and comes alive in its own world, in all your colors.
No printer? No problem. Every drawing can be colored right here on screen.
Free today Lemur Premium
Usually locked. Today anyone can color it and keep it, and tomorrow another one is free.
Worlds to color
Every world is a coloring book of its own. Bring any of its drawings to life by coloring it, and it will go to live in that world. Some drawings have big, bold shapes for a quick color, others enough fine detail to fill a whole evening.
-
The jungle
13 animals to color
A winding river passes a waterfall surrounded by tall trees. Lions, elephants and zebras roam the riverbank while monkeys and sloths hang in the trees above. Parrots and toucans fly through the skies, and now and then a little rain shower passes through.
-
Pumpkin Hollow
24 characters to color Free until Halloween
A haunted manor on a hill on Halloween night, under a very large moon. Witches on broomsticks sweep past, children go trick-or-treating along the lantern-lit lane, jack-o’-lanterns glow in the patch, friendly ghosts float among the old tombstones, and a black cat, a bat, an owl and a spider complete the scene.
-
The coral reef
13 sea creatures to color Premium locked
Sunbeams travel across the sand of a bright, shallow sea. Clownfish, angelfish and sea turtles play in the coral with a dolphin, a whale and a friendly octopus, and some jellyfish drift by.
-
Sunny Farm
15 animals to color
A farmyard on a sunny summer morning, with a big red barn, an apple tree and a duck pond. Cows, horses and sheep amble along the farm track, ducks and a goose paddle on the pond, a hen hops about the coop yard, a pig wallows in the mud and a barn cat keeps watch from the haystack.
-
Dinosaur valley
18 dinosaurs to color Premium locked
A warm, green valley on a golden afternoon, with a tall rock spire, a waterfall and a calm volcano far away. A triceratops and an ankylosaurus wander along the path, a brontosaurus stretches its long neck to the sky, a pteranodon sits on top of the spire and a plesiosaur swims in the river.
-
The Glasshouse
21 creatures to color
A Victorian glasshouse on a rainy morning, with rain running down the glass, tall palms, orchids and a koi pond under iron arches. A peacock stands on the tiled floor, a giant tortoise plods past a sleeping cat, koi glide among the lily pads and butterflies drift between the orchids and the hanging baskets, while a luna moth circles the lantern by the spiral stair.
-
Dragonrest
15 fantasy characters to color
A castle courtyard high on a cliff at sunset, with a stone well, ivy-covered walls and a lantern on the tower stairs, and a stone bridge across the gorge to a castle with blue roofs. A big ember dragon rests at the front of the courtyard, a baby dragon potters about by its egg, and a knight, a wizard, an elf and a dwarf walk the flagstones. A pegasus and a long river dragon walk there too, a griffin perches on the bridge, and a phoenix flies across the sunset sky.
Play with family and friends
It’s more fun when someone you know is in the world too. Everything is done with a link or a short code, and there are no messages to type.
Family book and friends
Start a family book for up to twelve people, and make friends with a link, a six-character code or a challenge. Each world can then show only your family’s drawings, or yours and your friends’, and it tells you what’s arrived since you last looked.
Give a drawing
Color something and send a link to it to be added to someone’s book. The drawing comes to life in their world and they can even color one back for you.
Give worlds as a present
A birthday present or just a nice thought for a child: give them worlds to fill, magic colors or a whole year of everything. Ready right after you pay, as a link or a code.
Made for every age
Safe by design
No chat and no messages, and no ads. Names people type are checked before anyone else sees them. Players in the shared worlds don’t know who colored a particular drawing, and friends only connect through a link or a code that someone chose to share.
Relaxing at any age
A single tap fills a shape, so the youngest can create and fill a whole drawing. It’s also very relaxing for anyone looking for a quiet activity. You have the ability to pause the worlds, your reduced-motion settings are honored, and you can use a keyboard to color.
In the classroom
Project a world and have everyone color in that world using tablets, phones or paper. Each drawing is then shown on the big screen with its name. Friends can keep seeing each other’s drawings afterwards, side by side.
Questions and answers
Is Live Coloring Book free?
Yes, it’s free to play. You can try out every drawing, every magic color and everything to wear. You can keep 38 drawings for free, and every day you get another free one. The rest unlocks with Premium, a one-time purchase or friends who join you.
Do we need to sign up?
No. Open a drawing and start coloring. Your coloring is immediately added to My book on this device, and a copy is saved for you.
Does it work on a phone or a tablet?
Yes. It runs in your web browser on your phone, tablet or computer, with no download required.
How does a drawing come alive?
Every drawing has a twin that moves, made from the same lines. When you finish, your colors are painted onto the twin, so it can walk, swim, swing or even fly, looking just as you colored it.
Who can see my drawing?
When you set your drawing free, others may meet it in its world, carrying its name but never yours. Your family book is for the eyes of its members only, and your drawings show up for your friends, with the name you chose. Nobody else can see what you colored.
How many drawings are there?
119 drawings in 7 worlds today. More are to come.
Can I print the coloring pages?
Yes. You can print every drawing on A4 or Letter paper. Color it with crayons, take a photo, and it comes alive with your colors.
What if we stop halfway?
Your drawing waits for you. Drawings you started are saved in My book, so you can return to them to continue coloring.
